The Shepherds Way Animal Rescue (TSWAR) is a full service        equine rescue specializing in equine rehabilitation, dedicated to       the prevention of animal cruelty. Through Natural Horsemanship,   we teach our rescues how to trust again, offering quality horses      for adoption.

We rescue abused, broken, and unwanted horses and pair them      with abused, love starved, and disadvantaged kids that come to      the ranch for free riding and life lessons.

Most of our rescues are adopted out to loving homes where these  horses find the love and care they crave and deserve.

Some horses may never leave the ranch due to the severe abuse     they had to endure during their lives with previous owners. These  horses are free roaming in the pastures of the ranch where they       will come right up to any person ready to give treats, love, and        attention.
